That is the most fantastic use of orphan blocks and pieces I've ever seen. The Japanese Ladies are beautiful too.

Wow. Both are very nice. Love the whimsy of the birds on a wire and the elegance of the Japanese ladies. Great work. Good luck with the ladies and please let us know what you win with them.

Your Japanese ladies is a stunning quilt - I'm sure it will get a ribbon in the quilt show. Your birds on a wire quilt is adorable.

I am doing some Kokshi (probably not the correct spelling) girls that I got the pattern on www.fatcatpatterns.com she is cute and easy to do. I do the blanket stitch around mine
