I love the way the cats pop on the black! I know what you mean about how hard it is to see when working with black, but I think the aggravation is worth it as shown by your project. Excellent job!

Your're right about working with a black background. As a quilter, you just see a pattern and think, oh that looks great, then when you start working on it you realize...is it just me or is it hard to see where this black fabric matches up? At any rate, you quilt is super cute and perfect for cat lovers! Great job!

I researched this pattern when I was deciding on a background color, and I found our posting about your quilt here on the QB. You made sure each cat had some pink, right? Your quilt is beautiful, and I came very close to doing a white background. But I bravely dove in. No regrets, but I wouldn't do it again.
