Just Keep Going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are right it makes a spectacular statement in his room and you are so lucky to have such wonderful quilting tools because the more you do the better you get. Rome wasn't built in a day and we didn't learn to walk over night. Beautiful quilt by the way.

It's so cool! It's funny, but I get excited and super optimistic about my quilts while I am making them... then somewhere before the top is done I start second guessing myself. I stop liking it as much, or otherwise feel disappointed in how it's turning out. (This is with EVERY quilt I make.) Then, after I get it finished and quilted, I fall in love with it all over again! Nothing looks as amazing as your idea once they are all put together and quilted. So you are right in your motto: "Just keep going!" LOL...

Not to highjack this thread, but this is the book and ruler that I referred to in my previous post. There are several patterns that use Creative Grids other rulers. In case it's too small to read, the title is ' Dynamic Quilts with easy Curves and the ruer is Curves for Squares.

Gorgeous! You have done a beautiful job! I am in the process of unquilting a throw I've made for my MIL from FIL's shirts (he died a couple of years ago). I am happy with the piecing, but the quilting - well, that leaves a lot to be desired IMHO.
Your "just keep going" attitude has inspired me to not worry about the 2 blocks I was yet to unquilt. They aren't too too bad and I think I can now pull the backing and top straighter and re-quilt it. I'm thinking/hoping the little bit of poof that's left will shrink out after it's washed. Thanks for sharing your wondeful work and attitude!
