Are you appliqueing the hexes on the black? I haven't seen this pattern on a black background, but it is really pretty with the bright hexes. I have the GMFG quilt that my late Mother made for me in the early 70's on my recliner. It is set together with green, traditionally for the leaves and background of the flowers.

This GFG is going to be outstanding. I would love to make one, but I will have to rake up some endurance from somewhere. I'm slow and it would take me a life time. But I am happy for you and that you shared it with us.

Made a hex quilt with applique and won't do another. Your quilt is very beautiful.

I love it! It reminds me of a crocheted afghan my grandmother had over her couch back in the 50's. That's an amazing amount of work. I would be blind by now. Big kudos for all the hours spent, and the great result!

What an amazing quilt. With tiny pieces, you've already done a lot of work! This quilt will be a show stopper for sure.
How will it be quilted ? Hope you can enter it in a show or fair.

Nice work! I agree with Spice that the background makes the flowers pop.
