Kaleidoscope quillt for oldest friend
#22
Thank you all again.
I'm not real sure how long it took. I started out doing a few block, then get something done I needed at the time, a few more, another project. I started well before I had to have it up there. Then about 2 weeks before I left, I got real serious and worked almost daily. I don't know how many times I rearranged the blocks.
I used One Block Wonders by Maxine Rosenthal and absolutely love her method. Also she explains the process very well. I am seriously concidering getting her encore book, One Block Wonders Encore! I guess she explains how to do the cubes in that book which I had to play with to get the look I wanted and proper size. I would think she explains everything well in this book also. EDIT: They are easier to do than it looks and they are a whole lot of fun!
