I have never seen an argyle quilt and yours is beautiful! I'd love to try one in grays & blacks for my DH! Bookmarking another quilt for the "future".

I don't have any of the magazines noted where the pattern was found; does anyone have the pattern to pass along?

Thank you Mary,Maxine & Mrs.Nat!! :) :)

Mrs. Nat, maybe your library carries it, or maybe through the intra-library loan program? (or whatever it's called, where you can get books from other participating libraries, through your own?). Or I wonder if you could find the magazine on Ebay?

Thanks so much again! :)

And what magazine would that be.? It would look great in masculine colors too. You gotta winner with that one, better do another quick before you forget the technique, like I would.

Right as I was starting it was also when DH had his colon surgery, so I had no 'focus'! Once I got the hang of it, I really started to like working on it! :) And Katie is sooo nice, I really couldn't ask for a better, more loving DDIL, that I really wanted it to turn out nice for her!

And I've been trying to think of fabrics, for me to have one! lol!!
I tried matching these fabrics as close as I could (at JoAnn's) as to what they used in the magazine, as Katie really liked that one.

I think it would make a great guy quilt too!!
:) :)
