Thanks so much everyone!! :) :)
Right as I was starting it was also when DH had his colon surgery, so I had no 'focus'! Once I got the hang of it, I really started to like working on it! :) And Katie is sooo nice, I really couldn't ask for a better, more loving DDIL, that I really wanted it to turn out nice for her!
And I've been trying to think of fabrics, for me to have one! lol!!
I tried matching these fabrics as close as I could (at JoAnn's) as to what they used in the magazine, as Katie really liked that one.
I think it would make a great guy quilt too!!

That is outstanding Diana! Wow....you are such a beautiful quilter. What an eye for color and design. I'm glad she loves it. It comes from a special lady!
BTW, how's DH doing these days? I imagine well - last I recall reading he was doing really well...cold sensitive, but well.
