2 reasons.... #1 It'll be small enough to practice "sandwiching" a quilt with batting...#2 Maybe the kids will take a hint

Thanks. I'm not really doing anything yet with it. I'm just building a baby fab. stash.. Once I get moved in and settled. I'll plan a baby quilt

Hi, just wanted to show you all my first quilt that I did free hand embroidering on the leaves, branches, mountains and the eagles. I always wanted to try this but never braved it out till now. I usually stitch in the ditch or free hand on my mega quilter as in the borders on this one. It turned out ok but have a few tucks on the back. Can't wait to try it again. I really enjoyed making this one.

Here in Maine(Sanford) we have a store called Marden's It is kind of like a salvage shop. They buy out stores and give great prices. This is a Poject Linus drop off sight . Every quilt you donate you get three fat quarters free.
This month they are making room for new fabric. They are having a huge sale $1.99 a yard,For good quality fabric.
If my husband new how much I bought...well All I can say when he shops there I let him buy all the tools he wants...after that what can he say?
I will check Joann's today. I just got my 40% off coupon in the mail,Can't let that go waste,

Bev--I love your sweet, soft baby fabrics. Now you just need a sweet, soft baby to wrap up in them!

Thanks...I'm giving hints to the kids but they'll have a baby when they're ready I guess.

Those are so cute Bev. I never seem to find buys like this. Guess I need to look harder. Ha Ha. Anyway, those are going to make wonderful baby quilts. You always have such wonderful ideas I can't wait to see what you do with these. Keep us posted.
