How lovely! What a wonderful way to keep and honor the good work that your mom did so very well. Not only a very pretty quilt, but also a great way to join her work with yours. You worked hard on this and it is beautiful.

Very pretty. I have some lace my great grandmother did, just saving it because "no one" does that anymore. Not sure I could do what you did but I like the idea.
How did you attach the lace to the fabric?
I assume it has the fabric behind it, but did you sew it to the fabric like someone might tie a quilt to keep the layers together?
I'm impressed by all the quilting on the white !!!
