Wow CB...I really like that! I love to do quilts like this that come together as you go...like a jigsaw puzzle...except you don't have a picture..and you also don't have all the pieces...its hard, but fun at the same time!

It is a first for me, so learing along the way. it is going better now that I am sort of on a roll. if I didn't have so much help it might even go faster.

I LOVE all the different designs with just two colors. This should be stunning when it's put together. Don't envy you trying to get them all in there. I'd be lost.

So I have the one edge all done. THe cats have helped, Kate has helped, kids running through have helped, so things got changed around, and as I put things together I switched things up so it seemed to go together better. So here is what I have so far.

Thank you Amma, I made it to the floor safe and sound, I had to to be able to post the pictures, it is a tall stool, have to get high to get it all in the picture nicely, next time I might have to stand on the table, it is a little higher.

You be careful up on that stool Cute! I love this and I must say I wasn't sure about the red and white fabric when there was only one piece in there but now you have it running through the layout I think it really adds dimension to the design! This is going to be stunning. :D And BTW thanks for sharing the pics with 'helpers' and where they've rumpled it up - such fun to see how you work! :D

I was not either with the one piece in, but I have learned to follow my instints and just go with it, It has helped turn out some pretty nice quilts. I got in here this morning to a bigger mess, I should have worked harder last night at getting it done I guess, but I find it makes it easier to fit the pieces if I take a break and go back in a bit. it seems to be workeing not to bad. I hope today it will be off of the floor.

Unfortunatley if I pick you, then all the other kiddies will want one too, I am not sure that I am up to making that many quilts, though you never know, Pretty soon I am going to have a stack of quilts here.
