Here is the start of laying out my black and red quilt. The blocks are all sizes, so filler here and there will be needed. There are 5 different blocks, all made in two different sizes.

Now the fun begins on how to get it all put together.

Wow, CB, that looks briliant - no wonder you changed your avatar, it's that one just there, isn't it? Great job, I look forward to seeing it finished. Who is this one for?

The cats have already been playing with the blocks, I think I am going to have to work on it today whether I want to or not now that it is on the floor.

I thought to use up some of the scraps form the blocks and then I have this other red pieces that I thought maybe. I am kind of nervous, there is not straight rows, so there will be some corners etc going in, but what can I do, I don't want that look.

Thank you so much everyone, It is going together a bit different than it is laying on the floor, I have the first few pieces sewn.

i am not sure who it is for, it is just something that I wanted to try.

First little bit done, as you can see I have plenty of help with it.

Looking at the one red, I am not sure about it yet, but I think it will do better once there is more in the quilt. The quilt is supposed to have a bit of a chaotic look to it, so we will see, If I don't like it in the end I am not sure what ti do, it will be buried in so much that I will hate to pick it out,
