It looks wonderful. I'm sure your neighbor will love it.

    Default Not yet a 'quilt'

I'm working on a quilted yoga mat bag - so it isn't a quite a quilt but quose enough.

I had a fabric panel for the bag (not yet worked) yet needed a smaller versioin for the yoga block pocket. Since they don't make a smaller version I recreated it.

Watson, that quilt is going to make you smile every time you see it. I used to write for sewing magazines and one time Threads sent me purple and green fabrics to work with. I thought OMG, how could they. It became one of my favorite combinations. Your color selections are beautiful and happy. And thanks for the memory!

Christmas Stocking are what I am working on right now. I have finished 11 and sent off 8 of them for my grandchildren and their parents. I am now starting on stocking for the rest of my Christmas list. The list has gotten smaller every year but I still put out as much home made as I can. I plan on at least 20 stockings and to put in them a small fruit cake and holiday face mask. For the little ones I will do a different stocking stuffer. We don't have to many llittle ones right now and with COVID I am laying low for the holidays. I plan to finish at least 3-4 more by tomorrow. This is just a taste of what I am doing.

I've really been thinking about doing stockings for the kids and grands. My problem is they all decorate so much differently. I wouldn't know what to do!

Stunning quilt. The strips and curves book is wonderful. Once you start you can get lost in the creative energy.

Could you use neutral colors that would go with everything? Attach velcro to the stockings and certain decorations so they could change it up the way they want? Just a thought.
