Thanks everyone!
Holy Moly!
That's your first quilt?!?!?!
Hand- or machine- pieced?
It's really beautiful. Perfect points. The colors, the setting, the cornerstones.

Fabulous!
It is machine pieced. If you look real close, there are a few points cut off. :-o
I also quilted it on my regular small-throat sewing machine. It wasn't easy to fit the king-sized quilt in the small throat. I did sid.
WOW!!!!

Ok, here are both of my firsts! No laughing... I must say Charisma did WONDERS on the circle quilt. Special Thanks to her & Beth for the Binding! I know I need lots of practice, and I am!! The Pink went to Quilts for Kids and the circle quilt to a Dear women who has stepped in as my adopted Mother, her name is Nancy. Her and her family had welcomed me with open arms since my real Mom passed away the day after Christmas last year.

That is what I was thinking also. If that is her first one---would love to see how good she gets as a seasoned quilter.

So pretty! I'm sure whoever you gave it to realizes what a treasure they were given!

I love your pic of quilt and grandaughter. She is looking at it so intently! I can't think of a better person to make a first quilt for ( besides a memory quilt for a loved one).

A lot of you quilters are vey ambitious for first projects. My first was a Delectable Mountains queen size. I gave it away and was glad to see it go. That was in 1980.
