It turned out beautiful, but purses sure can be putzy. I highly recommend the Versatile Wave pattern. It went together li key split, and you can change the bottom of the bag. So you can make one basic black purse or whatever color you want, and then just make different bottom pieces to change with the seasons.

Finished another purse and pattern....This one was HARD!...It is brown suede and cotton. My machine hates anything that's thick...Then of course there's my Callie...she thinks everything I make is hers...LOL Taking a break after this one....Time to clean up the house and put things back in order...LOL

I can see you have caught the bag bug. I love making them and really enjoy the whole process, even though it can get fussy. I am still trying to find the time to make the first bag you gave us the pattern to. LOL! THe holidays and the car running into my house really has me in a spin still. But, I have taken all my decorations down, put everything away and done my cleaning. So, I will start soon.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us. I know time is precious.
All that being said, That bag is fabulous. I know layers can rack up quickly when it has all that design to it. You did a great job on it. Kudos to the victor!
Your little kitty is a real ham! What an imp!
