Default small "boy" quilt for charity

I just finished putting the binding on a small "boy" quilt for charity. Our guild announced that we were in need of youth quilts, so I have made two for boys and two for girls. I will turn them in to our "Comfort Quilt Committee" at our next meeting. (We have decided our quilts are to offer comfort, so we changed the name of our Charity Committee.)

The pattern is Double Slice Layer Cake, though I just used 5 of my fabrics instead of buying a layer cake. If you look closely, the blue focus fabric has various sports balls on it....thus, I hope it appeals to a boy. The orange, white, and gold blocks don't really "jump out" at you in real life, but they sure do in the picture.

Anyway, I am pleased with this one.

Really great Dina and I like the name change to comfort. I used that fabric in one of my charity quilts I made a few years ago. Just such a good fabric for boys.

Boy quilts are harder to make than girls in my opinion. Your fabrics and design is great - wonderful finish!

Cute quilt, great for a boy! My guilds donate to a local organization and there are far too few boy quilts, especially larger ones.

Thank you for your kindness. Some child will love this quilt.
