Very bright and cheerful colors. It is a very nice thing to do.

So nice and perfect for "a boy". It seems that boy quilts always are lacking....must be because of colors. I try to make some as the boys always come up short......I never realized how difficult it would be to make quilts that don't incorporate flowers or pink.......this is a winner! I love the vibrant orange!

It's perfect for a little boy. I no longer belong to a Quilt Guild, however, when I did, we made quilts for children at a major hospital, where parents started a place for parents to stay while their children were hospitalized, similar to a Ronald McDonald house. That was the Guild's charity and it was wonderful to see how many quilts were made by members, plus seeing pictures of the quilts and their recipients.

The thing with quilting is that every one of us is in our own individual league! There are no rules, so we can all do exactly what we want to do the way we want to do it. Such freedom to create is rare and wonderful.
