BEAUTIFUL! I am going to make a Log Cabin Wall Hanging for our daughter--just the basic L.Cabin as is yours. Mine will be scraps, as I have so many, but I think she will like it anyway.
Congratulations on such a beautiful quilt!

On my design wall right now I have log cabin blocks that are really bright. I will change the lay out I have, to the star you have. You did a beautiful job on everything. I just love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone  I thought it was a little pedestrian compared to the bright and vivid colors and patterns I see. I tend to use darker and more muted colors in my quilts, I like the old-fashioned, homespun look. I do like the vivid ones when I see them but I just don't seem to gravitate to that type of fabric. I do have one fabric in vivid colors that I bought that I am matching up with my stash but haven't decided on what to do with it yet.

I just started working on a Feathered Star in fabric that my daughter picked out. It has eggplant purple, rich brown, light blue and green. I still like it though.

My other daughter picked out a collection that isn't available yet, Pepper Metro Market from Robert Kaufman, that is Black/White/Red/Yellow. That will be interesting to use. She also liked a pattern called Market Day that is baskets in pastels that I think might be really striking in the other fabric.

This quilt is just beautiful. What is the size of the finished block with seam allowances? Thanks so much, Delpha
