    What did you use as dyes? Your colors seem so vivid that they look as if you used inks.

    How different the fabric colors look when they are home dyed. They are beautiful and I love your concept of the moon. Beautiful work!

    I use Procion dyes. They are a cold water dye for dyeing cellulose (plant fibers - cotton, bamboo, linen). The amt of dye powder you use is based on the weight of the fabric and how intense of a hue you want, the "Depth of Shade." The sun was a Depth of Shade was 4% - which is nearly the max for all colors but black, and the moon fabrics were made with a combination of Turquoise/Yellow/Black/Red, put on in 2 dyebaths. I have toyed with the idea of making a tutorial. It is really quite easy to do.
