Thanks everyone!!!!! :) :) :) Cissy, enter it in a show????? :) hmmm, dont think i can. I'm going to hand quilt it, but it's just going to be stitch in the ditch, and my stitches aren't real small :) I will be quilting it with plain white thread, because, well, just because that's how people used to always do quilts, and the beautiful mennonite quilts are done with white thread, so that is what i will do. Yeah! I get to sandwich it now! :) :) :)

Awe, thanks guys :) :) :) Well got it all sandwiched today, and started some hand-quilting. I don't really like handquilting, just because my fingers get sore, never got the hang of using a thimble lol, but, decided to hand quilt it because if it's a display quilt, to show what someone with hd can do, then that's what i should do. I like the love that goes into handquilting, but not the sore fingers lol lol

Have you tried the leather thimbles? They wear out pretty quickly but I never got the hang of a regular thimble either. I know finding the right one is a very personal thing but that works for me.

This is sure one beautiful quilt.
