I am in awe! I spend about as much time quilting as she does, but mine are on the opposite end of the spectrum from hers! Hers are works of art. Do you know the name of the pattern for number three?

These are SO worthy of their own show! Check around to see if there are "alternative art spaces" in your community - many buildings (libraries, community centers, senior centers, multi-business centers) are using their walls to display art of every kind made by members of the community. It'd be great if you could find some place to show these GORGEOUS quilts and let your mom's story be know for everyone out there!

Now I would not think an 86 yr old would pick those patterns and fabrics ! I would think more of old fashion - gracie prints or double wedding ring ! She is really talented !
