The Chinese lantern is a beautiful pattern & would let each of the fabrics shine and be noticeable. Just my opinion, but I think the Bento Box would only jumble them all together and would not show off the beauty of each fabric. Everyone has their own taste. I hope you can find a pattern that you love for these beautiful fabrics. Have fun.

Actually those two were my first choices - (Chinese and Bento box) - I have a couple of other projects ahead of these however, so am writing down those ideas and will start this fall on the project. I love the Montana Cartwheel/New York Beauty, but think that might be too busy. I have used one of the Indonesian batiks in another quilt and I have noticed it has a definite different "feel" to it than the other fabrics. It is much much softer - which made it difficult to cut and work with. Spray starch helped alittle bit - but it was a bit nerve wracking that it was so different from the other fabrics I was using.

Is there a quilt I can make that would do these justice?
