Unless you have unusually thick arms, the dress is great without a bolero. Gorgeous dress, BTW.

Sorry you have the stomach cramps (and other things). I have found that quilting is portable, and lots of pinning can be done while doing "other things."

Love the block (and batiks) and I think it looks great as it is. The dress is beautiful, too. I have a son marrying May 5 and I have to get busy and find a dress. Hope I find one as gorgeous as yours!

Love the dress and I too would not think of wearing black to my son or daughters wedding-I always think of black as a funeral color (guess that just tells you how I was brought up and maybe a clue as to my age. I wouldn't worry about the quilt piece they will love it because it is from you-what a great gift.

I got the dress at Sears. The one online is 40% off of $120. It's not exactly the same as what I got, just the banding is different, and mine was normally $140 and was 50% off.

I don't think I would have noticed the two oranges close together. The dress is beautiful.

The block looks good as is. If you don't feel better soon, hope you call your doctor. Your dress is lovely and looks comfortable also. Enjoy the day!

LOL. I can just hear it now... "Mom! What are you doing? You've been in there for a half an hour!" "I'm sewing! Go away!"
