Oksewglad hope you don't mind me putting in a comment here.

If anyone is going to try this one way of doing it would be to start with a larger piece of fabric and sew two together for the center and then trim it to size, Add the next one the same way and trim it down instead of cutting the strip to 7/8" or whatever size you would need. That way you have a bigger piece to hang onto as you work with it.

How did you piece yours OKsewglad?
Rhonda I pieced mine the traditional way. I have this thing with minis. The fabric I use are always trimmings from something; I don't cut say an inch wof to use in quick piecing technique. It really limits my fabric selection, but challenges me at the same time. When working this small-color and mini scaled prints are more important.

Here's an idea on how to use minis at Christmas. I love how these look and they are still hanging in the window  Hope to get other seasonal minis done to hang here over my sink.

You could sew them to a string and make a garland of them! That was what I thought you had done when I first saw this! Love them! Soooo cute!

Thanks for the kind word--they are machine stitched. Arthritis limits my hand sewing.
