I'm trying very hard and for the life of me can't see a churn dash either. I have trouble "seeing" patterns until someone draws/outlines them for me.

I love the way the colors sort of make the Churn Dash disappear...Wonderful quilt they should be able to use as their child grows!

I had to stare at it awhile to see but they're there!
What a new 'twist' on a very old block. Great job!

Love your quilt. Blue is my favorite color and you used it perfectly!

Cute quilt and love the backing fabric as well. Churn dash is a nice block to make it modern.

Love the dots and dashes look! Someone could do something really exquisite making it a woven plaid. Probably wouldn't be that hard to do but not on my list.

I will be making some quilts from civil war fabrics probably next year. I think I have enough for about 3 queen sized quilts, so far I have one idea confirmed but this would indeed be another good one. Hmm... I have a lot of this one striped fabric that could be the little squares. There you go again, Quilting Board, another idea and I haven't finished the last 12 yet!

Beautiful! It's not babyish and that's fine. The child will get a lot more use from it. Great work.
