    Thank you for posting this quilt. I have a hard time throwing bits and pieces away and this is a wonderful tribute to what can be done with the bits if the quilter is talented, patient, and marvelously gifted. I cannot "see" things like your mother. My gift is to be a very good technician but sometimes that is soulless. I am bookmarking your post and will apply the lesson to a quilt I have in mind.

    Your mom has lots of patience and skills. beautiful setting and the blocks with the flowers breaks all the scraps nicely. Your sister will love it!
