If you really want to be fussy, change to a finer thread. Don't use C&C thread used for all purpose sewing but a more expensive thread sold in quilting stores like aurifill or superior masterpiecing.

I think that you are doing very well!!! You are getting a good grasp on the cutting, piecing and scant 1/4 inch seams!!! You will be cranking out quilts with perfect points and finished sizes in no time!!! :D :D :D
