    More traditional work

Wall hanging, hand quilted. Wow, those of you and our ancestors who quilted by hand, great kudos...this HURTS!

    Nice work. Love the pattern.
Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.

I love it! There is always something comforting about a traditional quilt. Very easy on the eyes.
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

I love it. I agree I get very sore fingers when ever I do hand quilting which is very rarely. I feel a comfort when I see your wall hanging. It's homely and warm as you say traditional. Lovely. Thanks for showing it.

Beautiful. I can't hand quilt too much anymore. My neck, shoulders and wrists ache, not to mention the gaping holes in my fingers because I always find ways to use the finger without the thimble on it.

Hurts a lot actually! LOL! I get needle finger all the time. You'd think after all this time, my fingers would be tougher! Great job, beautiful little quilt.

My fingers used ta hurt. After I finally found a thimble that fit, I would keep it w/me till my fingers were sore. Then I'd use it. I now just grab it naturally! I hope this helps.

Hurt is from carpal tunnel syndrome from when I was a medical transcriber and other various bad wrist positions as well as a bad car accident where I broke both arms and damaged radial nerves. My fingers go numb and ache.

I love that pattern, too... & the fabrics! This is so homey & country-looking (is that even a word? LOL!). I love it! And I know what you mean about hand quilting. I think I still have calluses from when I did my last piece several years ago... owwie!

Oh, man that's too bad. I was hoping that I could give ya some tips ta help. If it's carpal tunnel I can't help! I have a mild case of carpal tunnel but if I wear the brace at night it doesn't doesn't bother me ta hand quilt. Like I said mine is a mild case.
