    Your story brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful story!!! Your daughter is just beaming with pride holding up the beautiful quilt worked on by both of you!! Tell her she is as beautiful as the quilt!!

    As a church youth director, I have worked with an autistic child and I can feel a little bit of your joy. I can certainly see that quilting would be something that she might enjoy once she see the pattern and repetition of those patterns. Maybe she would like to help out fabric or the pattern for your next project.
