Rachel--that is beautiful!!!!!! I am so impressed. Love the quilting! I, too, love working on smaller things lately.

Was it a pattern or did you create it?

Oh gosh no, I'm not quite THAT creative yet. It's a pattern out of Beth Ferrier's book called More! Hand Applique by Machine. She has 9 different patterns in there and I love all of them. My mom was visiting a couple weeks ago and said several times how much she loved those sunflowers in the book. When I took her to the airport I swung by the fabric store on my way home and got all the fabric to make this for her. :)
