You can do it. There's plenty of Sun Bonnet patterns out there. I have one or two if you don't have any. Or go to http://www.sunbonnetsue.com for some free patterns.

I'm finishing a Sun Bonnet Sue that my Mom started over 8 years ago. She died 5 years ago and I just couldn't finish it. Now, I can and it is turning out great. I'm putting the scrappy borders on it now. For the 4 cornerstones, I'm putting blocks embroidered with the first and middle names of:
My Mother
Me
My Daughter
My Granddaughter

I hope my granddaughter will cherish it.
