Is there any question while I love quilts? This was made for me by my mother's two maiden aunts (Aunt Sophie and Aunt Polly) back in 1955. It's long gone, but I'm thinking that I'd like to duplicate it. What do you all think?

With all of the wonderful 1930s reproduction fabric out there, this would be a fun project :-) If you have a subscription to TQS (the Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims), the current show is all about Sun Bonnet Sue and 1930 repros....

Definitely should. Sun Bonnet Sue is as popular today as she was fifty years ago & you sure looked happy. Sweet picture, thanks for sharing :)

I love Sun Bonnet too, will have to make more blocks for this someday, cause I like needle turn.

Go for it! There are new products to make the process easier than 50 years ago.
