Your daughter and her quilt are both beautiful. Such a nice job. And I love the idea of making the machine her size. Am going to try with granddaughter. Thanks for sharing.

Her smile says it all. Tell her she did a fantastic job on her first quilt and that we want her to show us more that she makes. Great teacher Mom.

She did a great job! Is she eager to try another one?

I bet since she is a quick learner, she will learn how to change the background of the picture too, lol!
She did a great job. Good for both of you, mom!

And aren'T you just ready to tell the world about that quilt? I know I would be!!! My 8 year old GD asked me last week if she could sew something, out of the blue! Got her to the machine in a hurry. A few instructions about hand placement and off she went. She sewed the straighest line, then a staight decorative stitch, then another, and I was beaming. Then before I could say, "let's put something pretty together", off she went to ride her bike! Dang!! well, maybe she will want to try again someday. Don't let that sweet daughter of yours run off!!

Thanks everyone. She is already picking fabric to make a larger one! I have to admit that after we tied it, it looks even more charming. I may have to make a large charm quilt for myself and tie it. I had never even considered that technique, but the moment it was done I thought of the cozy quilt that sat on our rocking chair when I was young!
