This is the quilt that I mentioned in my Introduction post last week. I had a few requests for a pic and thought I would post one. I am still hand quilting...when I have a chance...LOL Have a great weekend everyone.

Gorgeous! That looks like a huge fireball exploding out of the center of your quilt. Great colour choices.

I can't imagine doing all of that by hand; maybe over 20 years.

What an awesome quilt! That's one I'm not in any hurry to do, but I do admire you doing it.

What a beautiful quilt! I was hoping I could ask you a question about its construction. Recently, a friend of mind gave me the "star" portion of a Lonestar quilt that her mother had pieced by hand, asking me to finish it if I was able. I would love to, unfortunately, I have no idea how to measure for the setting squares and triangles since it came to me without a pattern. Do you know how I might go about completing the project? Thanks so much, and kudos to you for completing such a marvelous quilt!
