If I was designing my own, I think I would try and do less of the unsewing part but then on the otherhand, I think this is a very intricate pattern. Smart of me to chose it for my first one, eh?! :lol:
Oh, I think you can handle it! Sometimes I think I pick harder patterns for the first time thru also. It just challenges our brains to think a bit more. :lol:

If you sew in groups of say 3 instead of 6 or 9 or just some of them in smaller numbers....The other option is to cut out each piece...then put on design wall...you can then move them around...just takes a long time that was...

I don't think I'll be going 'loopy' just yet! :mrgreen: :lol:

Jbarrow, these strip sets vary between just 3 strips up to 13 strips. Just to clarify, this is a purchased pattern, not my own design. I'm about to start row 41 of 50 and the unsewing is much less as I work my way out towards the edge. :-D
