So I told my DH that I was going to paint the barn this summer! With his help, (he doesn't like to paint, so he provided me the loaders and hoisted me up to the high points). I finished everything but the white trim on the garage door. That will soon come, but I was just too excited to get my barn quilt up! I will get it finished soon. (Oh yea, I have two more sides of the barn that still need paint. Anyone want to lend a hand?) :D
This is so pretty and your barn is so nice, great job on both paintings for sure. I have a garden shed and was going to put a painted sunflower window on the side and in the garden but now just had the thought in reading all the posts, I am going to paint a Barn Quilt for the side in the garden and the side that faces the street for all to see on main road....thank u for sharing.

Super job on the barn and the barn quilt. I love looking for these barn quilts as we ride around the country on our motorcycle. Fun to see what patterns people use. P.S. Love your old barn too! Thanks for sharing with us.

Great barn quilt. I am making one to put in our front yard on a limb hanging from our oak tree since I don't have a barn. Thanks for sharing.
