I don’t think it is too much! Down thru the years information gets lost or miss told. The more facts, the better!

I agree - -the more history, the better. It is interesting how brothers tend to treasure our quilt gifts.

Simply fabulous, a great masculine quilt. You should be proud, pat yourself on the back.

Now what's next? You are on a roll.

warm quilt hugs, sue

Pam-That is a wonderful quilt--very "manly". Your brother is going to love it.

Pam, your quilt for your brother is gorgeous! :) What a beautiful bed to display it on for pictures too. :)

I spoke with my brother, told him I had something to give him. He asked if it was bigger than a bread box. I said it might fit in a bread box  He rides a motorcycle which is why he asked. He said he'll come by after work this week since he needs to go by our sister's house which is just a few blocks from me. I'll find a plastic zippered blanket bag, I have some around here somewhere, so he can strap it to his bike.

He's coming by to give me some of my mother's jewelry. That is one reason I am giving him the quilt, to thank him for all the work he is doing to settle our parents' estate. All I have selected from their house is documents and photos, one of my grandmother's quilts and some of her embroidery work. These mean more to me than anything else. When he asked what jewelry I wanted I said the only thing I wanted was one of my mother's ruby rings. It is both of our birthstones since my mother and I were born in July.
