I like the brown....brings out the browns in the dogs and shows them off.

I like the brown as it frames the quilt nicely.
And your dogs expression is priceless, like he is listening to all your qulting woes and ready to give advice. LOL

What makes this quilt special for me is the Chocolate Lab in the center block. She was with us for 10 and half years….She was my daughters first dog….We were heartbroken when she passed away almost a year ago…..It is comforting for me to know “Chocolate” will be watching over my daughter when she is away.[/quote]

If Chocolate was your daughter's first dog... then I would say go for the brown or chocolate border...but I would let your daughter decide. Love the quilt. Love your Honey too. Am a great dog lover myself!

I would say go with what your daughter likes. She is the one who will be "living" with it.
