That is one smart 6 year old. Bet she does well with math in school - and everything else, too.

:lol: Actually, math is her strongest point in school. She's very academic and going by state regulations in homeschool, she skipped Kindergarten all together and started first grade last year. She's 6 and halfway through second grade now. She's not too fond of art class, ironically, but I think it's because some of it is called "free art" and that total lack of control/instruction drives her insane! She needs patterns, instructions and formulas. :lol: My oldest DD is the opposite and loves free expression. She saw a picture of a quilt in a Joann's flyer and decided she would start it. She's 8. Next week we're going to block off time to start it, without a pattern. :? I googled it and found it was a Chinese Coin Quilt but she prefers to eyeball it. :lol:

Thanks for all of the encouragements. She's gushing over all the praise. She has the flu right now so this is perfect timing to finish it so she can cuddle with her new lap "quilt".
