The fish in both directions makes the quilt easy to view from all directions, a plus.

The colors are just so gorgeous. it is a stunning quilt

I LIKE your quilt; with "upside down" fish, it can viewed from either direction. So there!

Aren't cousins helpful?! It's a nice cheery quilt and fish can go any way they want. As one person said, with the fish going more than one way, you can view it from either direction. You didn't make a mistake at all, that was the way you intended it all along :-) Make a joke to your friend about what your cousin said and then tell her you intended the fish to be just like they are so that the quilt would look good from all angles.

Maybe they're swimming south for the winter. Not everything has to be cut from the same mold!

Upside down means that there are two top edges and two bottom edges. No right way up/down!

What a beautiful quilt! Love your colors and now I want to make one too.
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

That is a really cute quilt and the dead fish idea is hilarious. I love it. I keep gold fish so I might have to keep this idea in my sicko head for my very own DFQ. HA!

Other that line are the others directional? If not, then it still doesn't make a difference.

I can relate to a dead fish quilt! I am the proud quilter of a quilt that I fondly refer to my "drunk bird" quilt!
