My Disappearing Nine Patch DISAPPEARED
#22
I agree with bluebird and all the others. It looks fine. Just don't tell anyonw that it's a D9P. Finish that baby and be proud. Quilting Christmas symbols (stars, bells, etc) in the white background squares may be nice.

I like it now, I GUESS  (AFTER TALKING MYSELF OUT OF RIPPING IT APART). But only you guys would know what I meant if I called it the Disappearing Nine Patch that DISAPPEARED! CAMO CHRISTMAS :?:
I understand where you are coming from. My first attempt at a D9P was out of Christmas fabrics as well. Well presto--- it disappeared too, all that work, gone. But the good thing was, my neighbor loves anything Christmas and she cried upon receiving it. So finish yours, take it as a lesson well learned and be blessed by the recipient. I am in a slump and am amazed at all the Christmas projects getting done this early in the year...
I showed it to my son (10 years old) his reaction was "Wow".
I showed it to my husband and his reaction was .... well lets just say that I shouldn't have asked
OK, so I need your honest opinions here....should I finish it? Or should I put it on the wall to remind me what NOT to do again?
Thanks!

I can't believe I'm the one replying on this. I'm the most lame when it comes to the computer. So perhaps I have learned a little bit.
