Wow, that is great news. And what a happy way to do physical therapy. I'm glad you are healing well.

SZQ - I hear ya... my leg was "up in the air" for 7 (yes 7!!!) weeks.

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement :)

Today I managed to fix my serger. It never worked properly from the time I bought it. Turns out that I had been threading it wrong. Ooops... So I made these covers for the dog beds.

    Ooops stray threads :)

I love those fabrics! Great dog beds - dogs are trying hard to look cool - are they adolescents?

I'm so glad that you are healing up nicely! Sewing will make great therapy!

After I had wrist surgery, I asked the doctor when I could crochet again. He said try a little at a time and work it up. When it starts to hurt, stop... so that's what I did... he said he had never seen someone heal as quickly as I did - great therapy! So I swear by crafting to heal now!!

Glad you are healing nicely. Your sewing spot is nice and I think sewing is good therapy. Know it is for me.
