You can actually see the whole thing now! The top now measures 83 1/2" x 101 1/2". Here's some pictures. Now, I need to cut the ends off straight, where it is now a half of a square and then a whole square, etc. Then, put on the borders. Thanks alot for all the interest in this project.

    Marilyn:
I've been watching this feed and loving all the pics to illustrate your progress. It's absolutely georgous!!! I do have a stupid question tho, and I hope someone else hasn't already asked, but, here goes: When you put the wedges in to fill in the blank areas, how do you sew those in? It looks to me like you are sewing two flights of stairs together. Are you doing it by hand? Or by machine? Please explain. I'm very interested in trying one of these.

You all are great! Each and every one of you!!! Talk about something giving you "confidence" in yourself! All of your comments, compliments and encouragement have been greatly appreciated.
I am really happy with the results so far. I loved taking this "journey" with you all. What are we doing next? haha
I spent the day with my Mom today again, so I didn't get anything done on the border. Probably tomorrow.
Thanks again for all of your support! and enthusiasm!
