I think it's beautiful, and if you looking for someone to send it too, I'd be exstatic if you sent it to me!

Haha! I've actually got a craft show coming up (juried, so I'm not sure I'm accepted yet). I'll try to sell it there. Realistically, though, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to keep it on my bed

This is an old thread, but I recently (finally) took the time to hang up the quilt outdoors and snap a photo in a some nice sunshine. You can see the whole thing now!

It's beautiful, and I thought the same thing, that it looks like a sunset.

Awesome quilt. Were you accepted in the juried quilt show you mentioned a few months ago? Love your quilt. A bargello quilt is on my to-do list of quilts. Thanks for sharing this stunning quilt again!

I was accepted, but it turns out the show wasn't that great for me. I don't know if it was just a low-attendance year or what, but I didn't do super well. I'm trying out a different show this year (also juried), so we'll see!

This book is a great place to start:
    http://www.amazon.com/Twist-Bargello...+turn+bargello

I'm doing a pattern out of this book right now, and the instructions are very clear and there are a lot of helpful setup tips in the beginning.

If you want to start out simpler than that, I posted the pattern for this one (it's mine) earlier in the thread. The hardest part really is the fabric choices
