This Bargello is called Nebula. It is from Eileen Wright's book Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts. True, batiks can be tricky but they make great quilts.

My first Bargello I hated. Then found a pattern and watched Elenor burns making one, both methods did half drops so no seam matching oh how I enjoyed that. Hoping to make a swirly one next year, it's on the list.
Yours is beautiful, if you make a mistake always repeat and call it the pattern.

I have not seen a bargello quilt that I liked UNTIL seeing this quilt. It's gorgeous. The colors are fabulous. I love the pattern. I could cherish this quilt. Don't know about any mistakes. A very beautiful quilt!
