I am so encouraged by the responce, thank you.
From my experience making this block, I can say that it was made easy by having accurate pieces (no variances) stitching with a straight line (assisted by using a Machine Sewing Guide, Westalee Design), keeping a perfect scant quarter and pressing, not ironing, as instructed. My wife has been quilting for more than 30 years and she is a very good tutor

Great job Bil. Your points are perfect.Could make more blocks of this pattern but in differant colors and then put them all together. Course one block could make a nice pillow cover or a wall hanging.Keep up the good work.
