I'm as happy as a clam about how this turned out. Just how happy are clams? Anyway the blades are from Moda, Bar Harbor charm pack and the center is Wilmington's Wiscasset. I didn't plan it this way, but to have both from the beautiful state of Maine had to help. I'm in love with the Dresden and have started an EPP quilt using the same idea.

Very pretty block! I thought the dresdens were a lot of fun to make and plan on doing another in the near future. Keep them coming!

Nice work! You did a great job choosing the fabrics and the dresden is beautifully stitched.

Love how the colors work together. It definitely looks...."Maine-ish" to me! I recently started a dresden and am quickly becoming obsessed with it! LOL Congrats!

Picture was taken at Red Feather Lakes. We are in Aurora, just outside of Denver. My brother has a cabin up there and he gave me a key to it for my birthday a few years ago. We absolutely love going up there. I love your part of this beautiful state, we've been here 34 years and I wouldn't leave for anything.

There is a terrific tutorial on the Missouri Quilt Company site that made me feel confident about the Dresden. If you get a chance take a look.

Correction on the Wiscasset, it is a Moda Pattern.
