You might have read some of my posts on here and another forum about my many problems with tension on the bobbin using my Kenmore aka/Janome machine attempting free motion quilting. I took a class even and have just worried myself to death with tension issues. Last week I tried a Husqvarna Mega Quilter at a JoAnns the bottom tension on my very hurried loops etc. was perfect. I think Janome/Kenmore doesn't easily do FMQ. I thought I was the problem. Am looking for a 2nd machine to do my FMQ only.

Anyone else have similar problems with a Janome and the bobbin stitches tension when doing FMQ?

I am in AWE !!!! I have practiced stippling/meandering and keep breaking my needle - time and time and time again. Hopefully, if more practice, the work will become easier.

GREAT WORK !!

Congratulations! You did a beautiful job. One of these days I need to try again as my first two attempts were a disaster but now I know I need to use a different batting. My polyester is too puffy in my opinion.
