BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I'm hoping to make a lone star, too. I'll look into the DVD by Jan Krentz. Thanks for that suggestion. I'm glad to know you're on your way to a healthier you. My prayers will go along with you as you continue to get healthy. Thanks for sharing. :)

What a rough time resulting in a gorgeous quilt! So glad things are doing better!! I've just had a slight relapse the past week or so but will use your example to get back to work on a basket quilt that I've been working on for over the past 18 months of ups and downs. I'm naming it "Recovery". I need to finish it in order to start my granddaughter's wedding quilt. PRAY ALL CONTINUES TO GO WELL FOR YOU.

Nothing like just jumping into the deep to find out whether or not you can swim! This was a really ambitious project for a first timer, and I think you did a beautiful job! Well done!

Thanks for looking! :D
You should name it "The Miracle"! If anything was proof of miracles, this is it. Glad you were able to finish it. Beautiful.

That is absolutely beautifully done for your first quilt. I hope mine is half as good. When completed I'll post a pic. The colors in your quilt are stunning. I love it.
