Well, until someone who knows something about computers comes by your owl is now my desktop picture (don't know how it happened). That would be OK except the original is one of 5 of my grandkids together. Everything said about your quilt is true! Absolutely beautiful. I remember the euphoria of finishing my first quilt top, and it is such a good feeling. To say yours is lovely, is an understatement. My kids always said that if I cried at the receipt of a present, they had done well. I think you did VERY well and can imagine how touched your aunt was. Beautiful.
