Thanks Patsy!!! Astro is a full blooded Great Dane. He is declining now as he is 11 years old and has some medical issues. There average life span is about 8-10 years. I lost my female last year at 13 years.
He just lost 40 lbs in the last year, and yes he is a real protector of Mommy, but a huge mushhead, too!! He lays in my sewing room whenever I go in there. I treasure all the time I have with him. Funny how a Dog can sense your pain or emotions when a man can't...lol!!

Thanks for all the nice things everyone has said, it gives me the confidence to keep going!
